The Unarmed Youth (TUY), set up in August 1st 2004, is a non-governmental, non -religious, non - ethnic, non - profit, social organization, set up to promote peace, love and harmony among youths in the world .
The organization was formed due to, the present state of the world’s future leaders: THE YOUTH.
‘The Youths of today are the leaders of tomorrow is a popular adage, but what future would these youth have? Now that a large number of the youths indulge themselves in militant groups, cultism, armed-robbery, Hired-Assassins, suicide bombers or engaged in anti-social activities and fraudulent practices.
This organization is aimed at youth disarmament and non-violence. TUY is aimed at making youths to see the future without war, and to take dialogue as the best approach to conflict resolutions.
The future depends largely on the youths and only when they are made to realize that only them can make better or mar their future, would they see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the vision of The Unarmed Youth (TUY).
